Josefina was my friend, a deeply valued friend. When I left Aklan back in 1965, I brought my memories of her with me. And even though she has died, those precious memories live as brightly as ever. In addition, Josefina was a good influence on me. She helped me become a better person than I would have been if I had not met her. And I am still that better person (I hope).
I will be with you and your family in spirit as you attend her funeral in November. And I will definitely send you some stories and thoughts soon for the Web site.
I hope her death has not been too difficult for you and your siblings. And I also hope that Josefina died peacefully.
A mighty tree has fallen in the forest.
Your friend,
Al Bradford
