Dear Lola Susing,
Even though you were halfway around the world, I’m so glad I was able to visit you a few more times since this picture, and exchange more letters and phone calls.
The last time we spoke was earlier this year, when I was 4 months pregnant with my babies, and how we planned to visit once they were big enough. I’m sad we won’t have that chance, but I’m lucky I was able to at least have you meet Giancarlo in 2010, who was my boyfriend at the time, and now my husband and father to my two boys, Rocky and Axl.
I know you’ll be watching over us as you now rest in eternal paradise. God bless you Lola. See you in my dreams.
